For music schools

Group lessons, ensembles and termly billing that runs itself.

Music teaching splits into group classes, ensembles and one-to-one lessons, usually billed by term and often with instrument hire on top. Generic booking software handles the first and fumbles the billing. This one invoices the term, takes the instalments and tells you who has not paid.

Your words, not ours

A page for music schools should name the things music schools deal with. These are here because the product handles them, not because they rank.

How RocketClass fits music schools

The things that make music schools different, and what the product does about each one.

Group classes and ensembles

Each ensemble, choir or group class is its own class with its own capacity, age range and price.

Termly billing with instalments

Parents pay per term, or spread it over monthly instalments taken from the card automatically. Mid-term joiners are pro-rated for the lessons that remain, and failed payments are retried before you are told.

Add-ons like instrument hire

Charge hire or exam entry as a separately priced item alongside the term.

Registers per session

Attendance for every lesson, on a phone, with medical notes and contacts to hand.

Waiting lists for popular teachers

A full group takes a waiting list and offers places in order.

What it costs

One flat price, whatever you run

£29 or £59 a month, published on our pricing page, with a 14-day free trial. The price does not change with how many children you teach or how many classes you run.

No cut of your bookings: card payments go straight into your own Stripe account and you keep 100% of every booking. Only Stripe’s standard card fee applies, as it does anywhere.

Questions music schools ask us

Can parents pay for the term in instalments?

Yes. Set a payment plan on the term and the card is charged monthly without anyone raising an invoice. You see who is paid up and who is behind on one screen.

Do you support one-to-one lessons?

A one-to-one is a class with a capacity of one. It works, though the product is strongest on group teaching.

Can I charge for instrument hire?

Yes, as a separately priced item on top of the term.
