For after-school clubs

After-school club bookings, registers and pick-up on one phone.

An after-school club sells the same slot every week to working parents who need to know their child is there and who is collecting. That is a register problem and a payment problem before it is a booking problem, and generic booking tools solve the wrong one.

Your words, not ours

A page for after-school clubs should name the things after-school clubs deal with. These are here because the product handles them, not because they rank.

How RocketClass fits after-school clubs

The things that make after-school clubs different, and what the product does about each one.

Weekly places, booked by the term or the day

Sell a fixed place for the whole term, or let parents pick the single dates they need. Run each weekday as its own club and a full Tuesday never blocks a free Thursday.

Registers with collection

Each session's register shows who is booked, medical notes and allergies, and the adults authorised for pick-up, on a phone at the door rather than a clipboard.

Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare

Card payments go through Stripe. Childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare are paid to you by the scheme, and you record them against the booking so the register and the money agree.

Sibling places

Set a sibling discount once and it applies to every family automatically, on term bookings and single days alike.

Waiting lists per weekday

A full Wednesday takes its own waiting list. When a place frees up it is offered to the next family who wanted Wednesday, not to everyone.

What it costs

One flat price, whatever you run

£29 or £59 a month, published on our pricing page, with a 14-day free trial. The price does not change with how many children you teach or how many classes you run.

No cut of your bookings: card payments go straight into your own Stripe account and you keep 100% of every booking. Only Stripe’s standard card fee applies, as it does anywhere.

Questions after-school clubs ask us

Do parents have to book the same days every week?

No. Sell a fixed weekly place for the term, or let parents pick single dates as they need them. Both land on the same register.

Can parents pay with childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare?

The scheme pays you directly rather than through the booking page, so add the booking yourself and record it as voucher-paid. The register and the payment record then stay in step, and card payments from everyone else go through Stripe as normal.

Do we need to register with Ofsted to run an after-school club?

Usually yes if you look after children under eight for more than two hours a day, unless an exemption applies. Our guides on Ofsted registration and on what a kids' club legally needs walk through which register, what it costs and how long it takes.
