For dance schools
Dance school software that understands grades, exams and show season.
Most studio software treats a ballet class like a gym slot. A dance school runs graded classes that a child moves up through, exam entries that only some pupils take, and a show that turns every September into a costume spreadsheet.

Your words, not ours
A page for dance schools should name the things dance schools deal with. These are here because the product handles them, not because they rank.
How RocketClass fits dance schools
The things that make dance schools different, and what the product does about each one.
✓Grades and levels
Each grade is its own class with its own age range, so Grade 2 Ballet and Grade 3 Ballet have separate registers, capacities and prices. Moving a pupil up is one action, and their history follows.
✓Termly billing, not monthly
Parents pay for a term the way your year actually runs, or spread it over instalments. Mid-term joiners are pro-rated automatically for the sessions that are left.
✓Multiple classes, one family
A pupil taking ballet, tap and modern is three bookings on one account, with your sibling and multi-class discounts applied without you working them out.
✓Show and exam terms
Run a show rehearsal block or an exam-entry class as its own dated term with its own price and its own register, then close it when it is done.
✓Registers with what you need on them
Injuries, medical notes and photo consent are on the register on your phone, which matters when a parent is watching from the door.
What it costs
One flat price, whatever you run
£29 or £59 a month, published on our pricing page, with a 14-day free trial. The price does not change with how many children you teach or how many classes you run.
No cut of your bookings: card payments go straight into your own Stripe account and you keep 100% of every booking. Only Stripe’s standard card fee applies, as it does anywhere.
Questions dance schools ask us
Can I run graded classes with different age ranges?
Yes. Each grade is a separate class with its own age range, capacity, day, time and price.
Do you handle exam entries?
Run the exam group as its own short term with only the pupils entering. They book it like any other class, and you get a register for it.
What about costume payments and show fees?
Add them as their own separately priced term (for example "Summer show fee") so families book and pay for them like any other class. They show in your takings like anything else.
