RocketClass vs Eventbrite
Eventbrite's fees are charged to the ticket buyer by default. For a club, that is the parent.
Eventbrite: Ticketing for one-off events. Not class-management software.
Plenty of clubs start on Eventbrite because it is quick to publish a page. It is built for events, though, not for terms, and its fee model points at your parents rather than at you.
How RocketClass and Eventbrite compare

Where these figures come from
- Eventbrite charges a per-ticket service fee plus a payment processing fee on paid tickets, and states: “Fees are paid by ticket buyers by default, or you can choose to cover them when setting up your ticket types.” Free events are free. Source
- Our own prices are on our pricing page, and they are the same prices you pay.

When to choose Eventbrite instead
If you run genuinely one-off events and being found by people already browsing Eventbrite matters more than terms, registers and fee-free bookings, use Eventbrite. If you run weekly classes for children, almost none of that applies to you.
Questions people actually ask
Can I absorb Eventbrite's fees instead of my parents paying them?
Yes, you can choose to cover them. Then the fee comes out of your margin on every booking instead.
Is Eventbrite fine for a one-off holiday camp?
Honestly, it is. For a single dated event with no register and no medical notes, it does the job. The strain shows when you run weekly terms.
What is a good Eventbrite alternative for weekly kids' classes?
A tool built around terms rather than one-off events. We run booking pages, registers, waiting lists and sibling discounts for £29 or £59 a month flat, with no per-ticket fee for you or your parents; Eventbrite's default adds its fee to the parent's ticket.
